David DerrickGOLDSMITH(Formerly of Ipswich and Stowmarket) Sadly passed away at home, Thursday 6th August 2026 aged 79 years.

Beloved husband of Carol. Loving Dad to Clare and in law Mark. A devoted grandad to Alice. Brother to Maureen and the late Mick.

A service for David will be held at the East Riding Crematorium, Octon, YO25 3BL Monday 24th August at 12.30pm. All are welcome and attire does not have to be black.

Immediate family flowers only please but any donations, if so desired, may be given as you leave the service for the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation and the Weighton Wildlife Group or online at david-goldsmith-1947-2026.muchloved.com

We are so pleased to have known Carol and David when we were in Yorkshire and are sad for you all now. But we're sure you will have many happy memories in connection with all of David's many interests and skills.

David you were a caring ,gentle, considerate talented gentleman.You will be sadly missed by everyone who knew you. A great fundraiser it was a privilege to have spent time you.Myself and the Market Weighton wildlife group have lost a true friend. My condolences and sympathy go to Carol his dsughter and her family.

You will be greatly missed David. Such a kind,gentle and talented gentlemen. Your dedication to fundraising was amazing. It was a privilege to have spent time with you. Myself and Market Weighton wildlife group have lost a great friend!!!
