RoyEMERSONPeacefully in the loving care of Castlethorpe Nursing Home on Monday the 6th April 2026, aged 91 years.

Uncle to Jennifer, Sandra, Margaret, Barbara & good friend to many who knew him.

Would friends please meet at Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe on Friday the 8th May at 11:20am for a service to celebrate Roy's life.

Family flowers only please but donations would be gratefully accepted for 'Jerry Green Dog Rescue'

Dear Roy. I'm sorry I won't be able to come on Friday. Thank you for being a wonderful friend since our paths crossed in '81. You were always happy, smiling and optimistic, whatever life threw at you. Go well, and I'll think of you reunited with Tia, Mark, and all you other canine chums, and, of course, your dear Mum. God bless.

This man was the light of every carers eyes! He was the most kindest loving, funniest soul ever! It was an absolute pleasure to have met you and made so many memories with you while caring for you! You never failed to make me smile even on the bad days. Even if you’d forget and wind me up calling me the wrong name all the time! Rest easy Roy! ( Courtney, carer at Goodwins)xx
