Peacefully on May 16th at Gloucester Royal Hospital aged 90 years, dearly loved wife of Richard, loving mother of Stephen and a dear sister of Margaret, Betty and Martin.

Funeral service at St Philip and St James Church, Larkhay Road, Hucclecote on Friday 19th June at 1-30pm followed by cremation at Gloucester Crematorium.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired may be sent for the British Heart Foundation c/o S C and B S Cocks Funeral Directors, 59, Hucclecote Road, Gloucester GL3 3TL,

On behalf of Dad (Stan of 26) and our family we extend our condolences on the death of Shirley to all her family and friends.

Both Shirley and Dick were such stalwart friends to our parents, especially when, in their latter years, some emergency, local, practical help was needed.

Shirley regularly made contact with us for updates on our parents' health and her kindness was then extended to the rest of our family.

A lovely lady who will be much missed.
