Julia was a lovely lady - I’ve known her for almost 60 years and she and John were very special friends of my late parents, Norman and Margery. Mum and Dad always loved seeing them, and their visits every Christmas Eve became a traditional part of the festivities, along with the cake that Julia always brought with her! My favourite photograph of the four of them, which sums up their friendship perfectly, is from Mum’s 90th birthday celebration in 2015.
Sincere condolences to John and the rest of the family, Julia will be greatly missed but you have many happy memories of a special person.
