We met in the 50's at Kings Mead primary school. I left in 1957 but we stayed in touch thru Facebook. Sorry for your loss.

Len was always someone that could make anyone feel welcome. Whether he was expecting to see you or whether you’d happened to bump into him, he always had a heartfelt smile and a greeting to make your day. He has also raised one of my favourite people on the planet and I will forever be grateful to him for that. My heart is with Scott and Pam and the rest of the family.

Scott is like a brother to me - and Len, from the moment that I met him along with Pam treated me like family. There was always a smile and a heartfelt welcome, a cheeky joke and he could make anyone instantly feel at home. I’m mourning his loss not just for Scott and Pam but for everyone - a truly kind man and he will be sorely missed. All my love - Conor
