Rhoda WinifredSALISBURYpassed away suddenly at home on 10th September 2023, Aged 88. Widow to Peter and a dearly loved and devoted mother to Hazel, Alyson (d.), Jonathan and Alistair, grandmother to Edwin, and friend to many. A funeral service for Rhoda will be held at the Moravian Church, The Settlement, Ockbrook on Friday 6th October at 11 am, immediately followed by refreshments at the nearby Lecture Hall. Request Family flowers only. Donations can be given at the service which will be divided equally between the Anglican churches (St Stephens and All Saints) of Ockbrook with Borrowash and the Moravian Church , Ockbrook.

A pillar in the community of Ockbrook and Borrowash. Teacher (Ashbrook Junior School), choir leader, organist she gave her life to the local churches and is owed so much by so many. And a good friend. Lovingly eccentric, intellectual and with Yorkshire resilience. A great lady and a loving mum. Peace.
