Passed away peacefully in Wansbeck Hospital on the 10th June aged 84 years after bravely battling an illness.
Dearly loved and devoted husband of Anne, much loved by brothers, brother in law, sisters in law, nieces and nephews.
Eric will be greatly missed by those to whom he was a very good friend and neighbour.
Funeral to be held at the West Road Crematorium on Friday the 4th July at 11:45 am.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if so desired to be made to St Oswald's Hospice or the Great North Ambulance.
A donations box will be available at the exit of the crematorium.
