CathleenCAMERONDied peacefully on 14th April 2023 on her 93rd birthday at Folkestone Care Centre. Much loved wife of Duncan Cameron (d. 2005) and wonderful Mum to Hilary, Margaret & Ian. She taught generations of children at St Martin's C/E Primary School, Horn Street, was a former hockey player for the Folkestone Optimists and a keen keep fitter and gardener in retirement. Her funeral service will be held on Friday 26th May 2023 at St George's Church, Audley Road, CT20 3QA at 12.30. All are welcome to attend. Please make any charitable donations to The British Heart Foundation or BookTrust.

Mrs Cameron has always been my favourite teacher. I've spoken about her so many times over the years I always remember her saying that she felt old, when she became my daughter's teacher too. Such a lovely lady 💕

Mrs Cameron was one of my teachers at St Martin's in the 1970s. I remember her so very fondly as a very kind, caring and easy going teacher. Not so strict as our other "Class 2" teacher, Mrs Wallis.
