John BallantyneBAKERIt is with great sadness to announce that Ballan, aged 84 years passed away peacefully on Monday 17th August 2026 at home with his loving family by his side.

A much loved husband to Joan,
a wonderful dad to Mathew,
a treasured grandad to Lewis,
and a dear father-in-law to Susanne.
Ballan was also a great friend to many and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

A service to celebrate the life of Ballan will take place at All Saints Church, Waltham
on Monday 21st September at 11.00am.

By request family flowers only, but donations in memory of Ballan can be made to both REMAP (Resourceful engineers make anything possible) Remap is the UK's only charity providing custom made equipment free of charge for disabled people. remap.org.uk/about-us/history/ and the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust, is your local conservation charity, we look after nearly hundred nature reserves, give wildlife a voice and inspire people to take action for wildlife www.lincstrust.org.uk/ donations can be forwarded to Waltham Funeral Services if so desired, a donation box will be available on the day.
