Gillian ChristineCLAPPISONSadly, on 20th August 2026 at St Andrew's Hospice, Grimsby, after a long illness, borne with great courage & dignity, Gillian aged 79 years passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family.
Dearly loved and loving wife to the late Glynn, treasured mother to Nick and Helen, mother-in-law to Lesley and Lee and a devoted grandmother to Matthew, Sophie, Charlotte and James and great grandmother to Robyn,
she was a dear sister to Graham, sister-in-law to Anne, auntie to Stephanie and good friend to many.
A service in memory of Gillian will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on Tuesday 15th September 2026 at 12 noon.
Family flowers only please by request, but donations in lieu of flowers may be made payable to
St. Andrew's Hospice, Peaks Lane, Grimsby, DN32 9RP
and a collection box will be available at the service.
