You have been part of my life for the last 17 years. How very sad this time has come to an end, now. My thoughts and prayers are with Bella and your whole family at this sad and challenging time.

I started out as one of your clients. Over time our relationship evolved as we were progressing through our lives with our own challenges. You always made me look and feel so great. I trusted you blindly with my hair! I knew it would always look great. Yours skills extended to my family and friends, too. I loved your energy, your zest for life, your bubbliness! But you were also a good listener and giving good advice and contributing your own thoughts. You seem to know how to live life to the full and be a blessing to so many people. There was also a time when I could give you some care and attention during & after the time you spend in hospital. This was special but also heartbreaking for me. I hope you have the peace now you very much deserve and longed for. Rest in peace most precious and wonderful Gemma.

Dearest Gemma,

I am devastated to have learned about your very sad passing just by chance. It's been so many years since I last saw you and although we only knew each other for a very short time you helped me so much with my confidence and were always so kind which I have not forgotten. I have thought about you often and always hoped you were living the wonderful life you truly deserved. You are and always will be the officially best hairdresser in the world and I tell that to absolutely everyone, about how amazing my hair was in Cambridge because of you. My heart goes out to your lovely family who you were always so very proud of and I know you were the best ever Mum to your little girl. Thank you for making a huge and positive difference to my life. I will always keep you and your family in my prayers and will always send you love. God bless you, Gemma, you didn't deserve all you went through but I am sure you faced every challenge with absolute integrity, dignity and grace.

Dearest Gemma, words fail to express the sorrow we all now feel. The empty space that now lingers, where light and beauty one occupied. You will be missed and never forgotten. Walking a path that has dimmed with your absence. Forever and always ❤️ Rachael x
