GlynGRIFFITHSMr Glyn Griffiths, of Accrington, died on Tuesday, June 7, aged 72. Glyn started off his working life at Hambledon Mill; he worked there for eight years. He moved on to the building trade for many years, and the last 19 years of his working life were spent in his fishing tackle shop in Abbey Street, Accrington, which he ran alongside his son Michael. His interests included motorbikes in his younger years, a love of fishing, and being out and about with his family. Much loved husband to Margaret, he was devoted dad to Michael, also Leo his grandson; his pride and joy. Brother of the late Edna and Linda, brother-in-law of the late Graham, Bert, and Jean, Glyn also leaves his brother Ray, brothers-in-law Maurice and Wayne, sisters-in-law Janice and Alison, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Thank you to all family and friends for all your flowers, cards of condolence, and kind words. The funeral will be held on Thursday, June 30, at 1pm at Accrington Crematorium Chapel, led by Rev Hugh Scriven, followed by burial at Dill Hall Cemetery, Accrington. Open to flowers, with donations if desired to the British Red Cross c/o funeral director Hyndburn Funeral Services, Queens Road, Accrington.

Dear Glen, a neighbour, work friend and a friend. We had some good times when we both worked at interlink. Also when I used to come in your tackle shop with Martin. God bless you and sweet dreams 😴. Love Ann and Martin
